We are thrilled to officially announce the addition of Producer Martha Shane to Project Dad! Martha’s directorial debut, the feature documentary After Tiller, premiered in U.S. Documentary Competition at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim. The film, which has been nominated for three Cinema Eye Honors, the Ridenhour Prize, and an Indie Spirit Award, won the Kathleen Bryan Edwards Award for Human Rights at Full Frame and was named Best Documentary at the Sarasota Film Festival. From 2006 to 2008, Shane co-directed, produced and co-edited the feature documentary Bi the Way, which had its premiere at the SXSW film festival in 2008 and debuted on MTV’s LOGO channel in summer 2009. We are so excited to work with Martha to finish Project Dad in 2014.
We’re thrilled to participate in Tribeca Hacks Cambridge, an interactive storytelling workshop hosted by the Zeega team, on December 8th. We see a lot of interactive/multimedia storytelling potential with the film, and we’re excited to explore this side of the project. Stay tuned!
